About The El Segundo POA

The El Segundo Police Department Police Officers' Association was established in 1949 to represent sworn members of the El Segundo Police Department. The City of El Segundo has a population of approximately 20,000 residents and during the daytime rises to over 100,000 because of the influx of workers who work in our wonderful city. The El Segundo POA has a total of 53 members.

The El Segundo POA is active in our community by supporting many charities and public awareness events. From donating funds to the El Segundo Ed! Foundation, numerous athletic organizations and the El Segundo Teen Center, the El Segundo Police Officers’ Association strives to assist in any way we can. The El Segundo POA is a huge supporter of the #PinkPatchProject and participates in it every year.

We are proud of the service we provide and the leadership role law enforcement serves in our community. We strive daily to provide a safe and secure community while treating all others with dignity and respect.

A Board of Directors consisting of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and three board members, governs the El Segundo POA.
